How can I be removed from an e-mail list/regular mail list?

To be removed from an e-mail list, send an e-mail to info@blackwellprofessional.com with "Remove" as the subject.  In the body, please be sure to mention which list you would like to be removed from (i.e. agriculture, aviation, etc.).

You may request to be removed from our regular mailing list three ways. (When you make a request, please include the code that is found in the lower right-hand corner of the order page of the catalog you received.) 

  1. Send and e-mail to info@blackwellprofessional.com with "Remove" or "Correction" as the subject (whichever applies). 
  2. Write to us at Blackwell Publishing, Attn: Marketing, 2121 State Avenue, Ames, IA 50014-8300.

This book is out of print; do you still have a spare copy?

We usually don't have any out of print books in stock, but it doesn't hurt to ask.  Soon we will have a page on our site that will list any out of print books that we still have in stock.  In the meantime, there are several sites out there that are dedicated to tracking down out of print books. Back to Questions

Any information that is collected through the Web server is used for internal review and marketing purposes.  It may be used to track which areas of our Web site are being viewed the most and therefore used to improve it. 

The information we collect from our information request forms, such as postal addresses, telephone numbers, or e-mail addresses are only used by Blackwell Publishing Professional to relay information that is requested by viewers of our Web site.

How do I get an examination copy of a book to consider it for classroom adoption?

Instructors in the U.S. may request examination copies of books they wish to consider for classroom adoption.  Please write to us on school letterhead with the following information: title of the book, title of the course, anticipated enrollment, your name and title, and your departmental address.  If you notify us within 60 days that you have placed an order for ten or more copies, you may keep the book with our compliments.  If you do not adopt the book within 60 days, you may purchase it at a 10% discount or return it to us.  Back to Questions
